As well as our church in South Street, Exeter, we also have a small congregation meeting at the Baptist Chapel in Brampford Speke. This beautiful Devon village is just north of Exeter off the A377 Crediton road, only a ten minute drive from Exeter.
The services here are more informal and suit anyone wanting a smaller or more interactive service. The fellowship is warm and welcoming and loves to welcome visitors.
Starts at 9.30 am on Sunday with a light breakfast (except first Sunday of month - see below). This is an informal service in which we sometimes sing or listen to music, we pray and read the Bible and discuss a topic. Each week is different, sometimes with creative/reflective prayer or other activities to help us reflect on our theme. We listen to God through listening to each other and aim to encourage each other as followers of Jesus.
First Sunday of the month
A service of hymns, prayers and readings which concludes with Holy Communion. In the Winter at 3.30 pm and in the Summer at 6.30 pm.
Our minister, Simon, looks after the Chapel. If you want to know more about our services and activities here then please contact him by email or ring 01392 211132.
The chapel is available for hire on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays by community groups or by churches for quiet days or awaydays. It seats 25, has projection facilities, a small kitchen and a toilet. Please contact Simon as above.
